I never ask my clients for advanced payments.
A typical workflow consists of milestones and you can pay in parts only after one of them is completed and approved. I calculate every milestone individually, depending on your project's features and your budget range.

Typical project milestones are the following:

The average turnaround time for a 60-sec animated explainer video is 10 days. The toughest deadline under that I had worked is 5 days, so if you need your video ASAP I can do it but the cost will be higher. I do not recommend to force a production process, so please bear in mind that an optimal timeline for a 1-minuite video from scratch is about 2-3 weeks.
